Unsilence Grief with Ethan Getchell

from Loving Life after Loss Hosted by Marie Alessi

Ethan Getchell is a men’s mental health advocate, pursuing his Masters in Social Work at the University of Michigan. He currently works at Michigan Medicine Psychiatry as a Social Work Intern. Ethan earned his Bachelors in Business and Communication from Hope College in 2023. He pivoted from commercial real estate into social work after the tragic loss of his 16 year old brother Austin to suicide. Ethan wrote about this experience and the silent suffering men go through in his book, Things in my Pocket, which you can find here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C9SNQJ75/... He also created a free course that is an introduction to men’s mental health: https://mensmentalhealthguide.com and last but not least, we mentioned his newsletter in the podcast, which I highly recommend subscribing to here: https://ethans-newsletter-19a839.beeh.... #suicideawareness #mensmentalhealth #grief #healing #unsilencegrief
