Unspoken Bias at Home: Are We Raising Strong Sons but Silent Daughters
from KASHISH SANDHU's Podcast( Certified Parenting Coach) · host KASHISH SANDHU
Unspoken Bias at Home: Are We Raising Strong Sons but Silent Daughters In our society, we constantly hear: 👉 "Girls should behave this way.” 👉 “Girls should not stay out late.” 👉 “Girls should sacrifice more.” 👉 “She has to be prepared for marriage, for adjustment, for parenting."The truth is — this imbalance starts right at home. We raise our daughters to be careful, but our sons to be carefree. And when that happens, we create a society where girls carry the weight of values and expectations, while boys enjoy the luxury of freedom without responsibility. So what can we do as mindful parents?✅ Set one standard for all your children — whether boy or girl. ✅ Teach your son to cook, clean, express, and take emotional responsibility. ✅ Teach your daughter to speak up, take space, and dream boldly. ✅ Talk about gender roles — and break the old patterns. ✅ Model equality in your own relationship with your partner. ✅ Start early — values formed before age 10 are deeply embedded. ✅ Praise empathy, not just achievement. ✅ Let boys cry. Let girls lead.If you want to learn more about parenting , you can join my workshop with below link You tube--https://youtu.be/Kvjoe-12pgY?si=b21j1KKoCSURiAB8🌐 workshop or Webinar: https://learn.mindfulparenteencircle.com/services/iils📞 Free Clarity Call: https://learn.mindfulparenteencircle.com/l/3722c4417bWebinar-https://learn.mindfulparenteencircle.com/l/2e20050bf7📲 Instagram: @kashishsandhu81New book-https://www.amazon.in/dp/9370180516🎁 Join My Parenting Circle inner telegram channel for faster reach-https://t.me/mpcwithkashish Support the showAuthor of Parenting Books, Check for my books:- https://mindfulparenteencircle.in/Check YouTube :https://www.youtube.com/@KashishSandhuBaghelFacebook-https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61577789373754
