Jessica is an Aortic Dissection survivor. Jessica shares her story of life after the trauma. She is a wife, a mom, and a teacher; she shares her story to inspire others to keep going and spread hope. An aortic dissection is very rare, and to be a survivor is almost unheard of. Jessica shares her struggles with PTSD and other mental illnesses after the event and is reaching out so that we can end the stigma around mental health as well. Since Jessica cannot work, she has used writing as her creative outlet to help her heal. Jessica has written several books and has also become a life coach to help others.
