Tony Laudadio was working in sales for Henry Schein Medical when a second cancer diagnosis forced him out of work. He had previously held roles in the solid waste and recycling industry and as a Sales Manager for ReBath of Austin. A St. Edward’s University graduate with a degree in Communications & Broadcast Journalism, Tony is passionate about supporting others in their cancer battles. Most importantly, he is a loving father to three daughters: Sierra, Gemma, and Alex. Tony's Story: My name is Tony Laudadio, and I am a cancer warrior. I was first diagnosed in my 20s with Stage 3 renal cell carcinoma in July 2013, losing my right kidney and missing months of work. Just as I was recovering, I had two seizures and was diagnosed with unrelated brain cancer on September 24, 2015. I underwent a rare and successful "awake craniotomy" for Oligodendroglia Grade 3 brain cancer, followed by 18 months of brain radiation, physical therapy, and chemotherapy. My cancer is currently stable, but the fight continues. I strive to maintain a positive attitude, inspired by my grandpa, who faced multiple cancers, with a smile and laughter. I approach cancer like a competitive challenge, showing my friends and family how to confront adversity with hope and resilience.
