Unstoppable Overcomers Ep# 80 Catherine Wreford Ledlow & Craig Ramsey

Catherine was born and raised in Winnipeg. She is a mother, daughter, wife, friend, an incredible performer, and most recently, the winner of Amazing Race Canada. She played leading roles in many New York Broadway shows and tours, ran a mortgage company in LA, and then became a nurse. In 2013, when her daughter was 5 weeks old, she was diagnosed with incurable brain cancer and given 2-6 years to live.  She had an awake craniotomy, radiation, and 4 kinds of chemotherapy. Nine years later she is beating the odds every single day!  While her cancer diagnosis has changed her life in many ways, she is grateful. She sees every day as a gift and understands the impact she has on the lives of others by sharing her story so broadly and being an advocate for brain cancer research and advancements in treatment.  As a performer with Rainbow Stage, Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet, RMTC, and a contestant on the Amazing Race with her best friend Craig, she exemplifies what it means to persevere through challenges and to never stop fighting against anything that may be trying to hold you back.
