Unsung Heroes // The Armor Bearer

In the last week in our Unsung Heroes series, Pastor Zach takes us into the story of Jonathan and his armor bearer—a man whose name we never even learn, but whose faithfulness played an important role in what God was doing through Jonathan.Jonathan had the vision. The armor bearer simply said, “I'm with you.” And that's what makes his story so powerful. We often celebrate the person who says, “Let's go,” but we don't always celebrate the person who stands beside them and says, “I'm with you.” Pastor Zach challenges us to rethink what significance looks like. Not everyone is called to cast the vision, stand on the platform, or receive the recognition. Sometimes our calling is to carry someone else's God-given vision, faithfully serve, and help make something bigger than ourselves become a reality. Your contribution isn't less significant simply because you're not the one getting the attention.
