UNT 109: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)

One of the most comic-accurate movies of all time is now 30 years old, so we decided to celebrate the Holidays by fighting in the 'old style', and look back at the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. If this episode reminds you of something that happened years ago in Japan, it’s because we removed the penicillin from your pizza and kept those Sony payments at bay, to instead meditate on this revolutionary film from three decades ago that certainly wasn’t some cartoon. And if you don’t understand cricket… we’ll teach you. Structurally speaking, this one has it all - It slices, it dices, it makes French Fries in three different ways but still manages to go on unfunny, nerdy tangents faster than you can ninja-kick a damn rabbit. So check out Episode 109: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Unless you’re some kind of punker. Man, we hate punkers. Hosted by: ‘Captain Cricket’ Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: 'SuperShredder' Jared Robinovitz (@superjew75), 'Moonlighting' Joshua Schlag (@schlizzag / @thesteelcage), 'Master' Neo Ecks (@theneoecks) and Danny 'It's just Dan now' Schlag (@dannyschlag). Music by: Partners in Kryme & John Du Prez.
