Until One Commits—from "Inspire Life Through Words of Well-Being"

from Words of Well-Being · host Marcus Aurelius Higgs

This poem is a manifesto for courage and conviction. Committing is just a leap of faith (that's all it is), and inaction and indecision are the enemies of progress. It takes courage to commit to something, yet the rewards are worth it. Committing opens the floodgates of possibility and once you make a decision to take action, the universe conspires to make things happen. It's almost like you're unlocking hidden potential by committing, especially if you're doing something that's purpose is to support life. Finally, your "new identity" is waiting on the other side of commitment. Because, by committing to something, you're actually transforming into a new version of yourself; you're leveling up with each step forward.
