Until We Hug Again - Vanida Hannan (Venevongsos)

Send us Fan MailToday’s episode is in loving memory of my soul sister, my love and instrument, Vanida Hannan (Venevongsos).  My friend passed away due to cancer, and she left a huge mark on my heart and tremendous work for me to do. Vanida and I met over the phone at work. We both are Law Clerks, and Vanida instantly fell in love with me on the phone and one day at work I received a beautiful gift from Paris, and I had no idea who sent it to me. When I found out it was her sending me all these wonderful gifts, I called her and she said “hello honey, you received my gifts. Every time I go on a trip I think of you, your kind heart, hard work, and I have to bring back a piece of beauty to match your heart.” Oh, my heart smiled, because I have never met anyone like her. Her presence and her voice spewed love. I will continue to make her proud and live with intention and purpose. She always looked forward to listening my podcasts and said “Honey, you are going to be on big stages one day, and you are going to be bigger than Lisa Nichols.” I laughed, but her admiration for me left me with big shoes to fill knowing how much she is rooting for me. Rest in peace and keep smiling sweetness.  Guys, remember to always extend love and spend time with each other. We are all an experience and it's crucial that we take the time to honor and love each other while we a present. My condolences to anyone who has lost a loved one.
