Through water baptism john prepared the Israelites spiritually by repenting of their sinful ways for the new life promised by God through the Messiah. How prepared are you to welcome Jesus the Saviour of the world. Have you made a straight path for Him in your heart? Have you truly repented of your sins to welcome the holy Saviour?
