Then it says :" So the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian for 7 years. These were not strangers, these were relatives Relatives who were hostile towards Israel. Why ? These were " Nomadic Gypsies who were opportunists". they were often compared to locusts because there were so many and they ate like locusts.
