"Up the bracket", de The Libertines

El rock és un malalt amb una salut de ferro, com se sol dir. A principis de segle XXI hi havia molta música ballable, llatina i hip-hop que havien desplaçat el gènere, que ja tenia 50 anys, al món indie. Però un disc de The Strokes a Nova York va fer que la gran indústria es fixés de nou en aquest terreny. A Anglaterra, el reflex van ser The Libertines, que van fer un disc de garatge-punk-rock amb molt bones melodies i lletres molt treballades.
