upcoming tours

hello welcome back to another episode of broken record my name is ellie i'm your host and today we are going to be talking about upcoming tours so recently i feel like literally every single artist i follow has announced that they're going on tour that is in reality not true however it does appear to feel that way so i feel like recently so many artists have announced that they're going on tour it's insane i mean good for them i'm excited to go see them but it's crazy like everyone's just like 2022 is the year to tour this is my year um no in all honesty i'm very excited um the first person i want to talk about who's going on tour is olivia retrigo she announced this a little bit ago however i still want to talk about it because it's super fun and exciting and she's a pretty big name so olivia's going on tour from april 2nd to july 7th um that's a kind of long time to be on tour especially for your first tour that's what three months four months april may june july that's three months that's kind of crazy um but anyway she's gracie abram's holly humberstone and baby fiend are opening for her they're splitting the tour into three sections for their openings um so like there's not gonna be they're not gonna be all performing one night they'll be like gracie's gonna go on the west coast leg and holly's gonna be in the um east coast etc anyway that's exciting olivia retrigo tickets went on pre-sale and like her tickets are already on sale and when they were going on pre-sale for the first time i tried to get them and oh my gosh that was a whole mess like that was so stressful i was literally so if you don't know how like getting pre-sale tickets works on ticketmaster you like you get there five minutes before pre-sale starts you go onto the web page five minutes before pre-sale starts then you join a queue and then basically wait in that queue for however long the amount of people in front of you are and they take and then once you get into the front of the queue you finally can get to the tickets and like get your tickets however it's a randomly assigned queue so you it's really just a luck of the draw um but i was in line for two hours i was in line for two hours for her concert and i shouldn't have waited that long because if it was if the line was two hours long then it was gonna be sold out by the time i got there and it was sold out by the time i got there anyway i still thought i would wait but i mean because i don't know if people were taking a long time or if it was sold out you know so that was kind of stressful i was kind of sad i didn't get tickets i can't get resale tickets it's just they're more expensive so that's a little bit sad um but yeah i'm excited too even if i don't get to see her perform i'm hoping i will but if i don't it's okay because i still see all the pictures and videos online and i'm excited um the next person i am going to go see and i'm ecstatic that i'm going to see them is ash she's touring from april 4th to may 12th and i'm so excited to see her um she's touring with blake rose and the book and the brook and bluff um again they're splitting up the tour so it's like blake rose is going to be performing east coast and the brook and bluff is going to be performing west coast um actually i think that's switched i think blake's performing west coast but um i'm super excited to see her i have been following her music for a while now and i love it so much i love her new album ashlyn and i'm so excited to see her in person because she's so cool and i'm excited to hear all the music live i just i'm very excited for that concert i have very high expectations for myself and i'm i'm positive she's gonna meet them so i'm very excited um the next person that's touring not not in the usa is harry styles and harry styles is touring in europe slash south america slash i believe he's touring europe south america in another place but i forget where but he's touring from june 11th to december 10th and yes that is an abnormally long tour time why you may ask because he's taking a break from july till november for press for his new movie don't worry darling um i think that's my guess because the movie comes out in september and so he'll have time to like do press and stuff for it and like red carpets and like press tours and stuff so i'm guessing that's what the movie's for maybe it's for another movie maybe he's filming something i don't know but yeah i'm excited um the next person i want to talk about that's going on tour is called gracie abrams yes she's opening for lydia rodrigo but she's also going on her own tour which is super fun she's going from february 2nd to october 26th and yes that is also a really long time to be going on tour but she's taking a break from the end of february to the beginning of october to go on tour with olivia because they're like best friends and i think that's cute and she's alex page is opening for gracie and i'm excited to see her on tour because she's still kind of a smaller artist so she's going to be in smaller venues which i feel like just elevates the performance so much more and so yeah the next person that's going on tour that i'm so so so so so excited to see is rex orange county rex orange county recently released a single and he's also releasing an album soon which i'm so excited for i love rex orange county i love his music um he's going on tour from may 4th till august 13th and he hasn't announced his opener yet but i'm excited to see who he chooses because um i more than likely be someone either i don't know or i do know and if i don't know them then i'll get to discover them and listen to the music and that's exciting the next person that's going on tour is tyler the creator he's going from february 3rd till may 29th which is kind of funny because february 3rd is literally in two days so he's starting pretty soon and he is going on tour with kaliuki's uchis i don't know how to say her last name um but also vince staples and teso touchdown so i'm excited to see what he does for his tour because um i feel like he has like a look for each of his tours like for i think the igor tour he was um he was like he had a blonde wig and he would always wear a pantsuit and like i've seen so many videos of him like walking out on stage in the blonde wig um and so i'm excited to see what he does for this tour and the next person that is going on tour that is literally starting their tour tonight in less than 12 hours is louis tomlinson he is going on tour from february 1st to march 13th and he's starting his tour in dallas and he's and sunroom is opening for him and i'm so excited because sunroom is such a good band and i love louis and i'm so excited to see them on tour i i just can't i i'm so excited i love louis music and i'm so glad he's going on tour and i'm so excited to see him also billy eilish is going on tour happier than ever tour and i'm so excited to see her she is literally just incredible she's an incredible performer um i went to her when we all fall asleep tour and it was literally insane she's such an amazing performer like i she the visual she has in her interaction with the stage and the audience is just amazing and also she tours with her family like her brother plays her plays the instruments and her dad i love her dad her dad wipes the stage before she goes on so it's nice and clean for her and her mom is just there taking videos and it's so so cute and i love that family um she's going to work from every right third also um the same day as time of the creator and she's going until july 2nd that's a long time for touring and she's like not taking a break either i mean she's like not performing every single night but like she's not taking a month long break in between two shows so that's kind of crazy the tour is being opened by willow duckworth jesse reyes jungle arlo parks and girl in red so she has a lot of people to open for her um that's crazy and they're all like well-known names too like willow i've heard of arlo parks i've heard of girl in red i've heard of like these people are not not big uh that doesn't make sense but anyway yeah she's going she's traveling in the u.s and then she's also going to the uk and a bunch of other places and it's just crazy and i'm so excited to see her outfits because this is her first time touring with like since she's like turned 18 actually i don't know if it's since she's turned 18 but this is um her first tour since coven and like she's changed so much she's changed how she dressed she changed her hair she's changed what music she plays so i'm excited to see her just whole event so i'm excited to see her whole tour and touring process um yeah thank you so much for listening um if you want to know more about these tours you can look up the artists and then tour or you can look at the artist and then your city name and there'll be information about if they're coming to your
