Die AfD verliert laut mehreren Umfragen an Beliebtheit. Sowohl das ZDF-Politbarometer als auch der ARD-Deutschlandtrend melden drei Prozentpunkte weniger Zustimmung für die Partei als noch vor einer Woche. Trotzdem bleibt die AfD mit rund 19 Prozent in beiden Umfragen weiterhin zweitstärkste Kraft hinter der Union. Ob es sich bei den Umfragen lediglich um eine Delle oder doch schon um eine Trendumkehr handelt, analysiert Michael Schlieben, politischer Korrespondent für ZEIT ONLINE. Die Konferenz der Kultusminister von Bund und Ländern hat sich auf ein milliardenschweres Programm für mehr Bildungsgerechtigkeit geeinigt. Mit dem sogenannten Startchancen-Programm, das sich die Bundesregierung in ihrem Koalitionsvertrag vorgenommen hatte, sollen Kinder und Jugendliche unabhängig von der sozialen Lage ihres Elternhauses die gleichen Chancen auf Bildung erhalten.
