UPDATE: Henry Co. Sheriff Got Paid but Green Dot Bank Had Nothing for the County

On this VIDEO episode of Southeast Iowa Today John Bain attends the Henry County Iowa Board of Supervisors Meeting at the Henry County Courthouse in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Lots on the agenda so the meeting has been broken up and will be presented in several parts. On this episode a section of Public Comments is shared when Henry County Citizen Dorothy Wenger asks the question, “Did they ever clear up that Green Dot account?” Henry County Auditor and Board of Supervisors Secretary Robin Detrick responded that, “It was gone. We did try for it.” Sheriff Rich McNamee was present at the meeting and shared that State and Federal Government is currently investigating it as a money laundering scam.
