Einen Tag nach Beginn des aserbaidschanischen Militäreinsatzes in Bergkarabach, ist Medienberichten zufolge eine Feuerpause zwischen Aserbaidschan und Armenien vereinbart worden. Seit Jahrzehnten kämpfen die beiden Staaten um die Exklave Bergkarabach. Wie der Waffenstillstand zustande gekommen ist und welche Interessen Russland in Bergkarabach verfolgt, berichtet Stefan Meister, Experte für Sicherheits- und Außenpolitik Osteuropas bei der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Auswärtige Politik. Bundesweit fordern am Mittwoch mehrere Tausende Beschäftigte des Gesundheitswesens bei deutschlandweiten Demonstrationen zusätzliche finanzielle Hilfen vom Bund. Um auf die schwierige wirtschaftliche Lage der deutschen Kliniken aufmerksam zu machen, finden in mehreren Städten Protestaktionen unter dem Motto "Alarmstufe Rot: Krankenhäuser in Not!" statt. Am Dienstag hat die Robert Bosch Stiftung die Ergebnisse des aktuellen Deutschen Schulbarometers vorgestellt. Kinderarmut, Überforderung der Lehrkräfte und Verhaltensauffälligkeiten von Schülern zählen zu den zentralen Problemen. Was noch?
