"Update" Program with Debbie Vickers

In this edition of "Update" we talk with Debbie Vickers, the public relations director at West Central Community Action Agency, about the Point in Time Count being conducted nationally Wednesday, January 22nd by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to see how many people are homeless in the community, where they are and how they can be accommodated. Topics include what is the Point in Time Count, how do people take part in the survey, where is the survey being conducted, differences in rural and urban homelessness, and what the survey has shown in the past.
