Am heutigen Montag beginnen die Republikaner ihren viertägigen Parteitag in Milwaukee im US-Bundesstaat Wisconsin, zwei Tage nach dem Attentat auf Donald Trump. Am Samstag schoss ein 20-jähriger Mann während einer Wahlkampfveranstaltung im US-Bundesstaat Pennsylvania auf Trump und hat ihn am rechten Ohr verletzt. Diese Woche wollen ihn die Republikaner auf ihrem Parteitag offiziell zu ihrem Präsidentschaftskandidaten küren. Welche Auswirkungen hat der Anschlag auf den Parteitag und die Wahlkampfstrategie der Republikaner? Kerstin Kohlenberg ist Redakteurin im Dossier der ZEIT und langjährige US-Korrespondentin.
