Updates considered for disc golf course

Improvements could be coming to the Westview Disc Golf Course at Westview Park in Pipestone. Alex Darveaux and Bruce Sadler, both of Pipestone, told the Pipestone City Council during its Feb. 17 meeting that they play the course regularly and it could use some upgrades. They submitted a proposal to the city requesting upgrades to the disc golf baskets, installation of maps and signs at the tees, installation of a large overview map at the park entrance and that the course be added to the city’s website.
