Updates in immunotherapy from SITC 2022

The 37th Annual Meeting of the Society for Immunotherapy in Cancer (SITC) took place on the 8th-12th of November 2022 in Boston, MA. Leading experts discussed practice-changing trial updates and the latest news in immune-oncology.   In this podcast, we hear from Prof. Judith Varner (University of California, San Diego, CA) on the combination of myeloid cell and T-cell targeting as an effective anti-tumor strategy and Dr Saman Maleki (Western University, London, Canada) on microbiome modification with fecal transplant before immunotherapy to reduce primary resistance in melanoma. We also hear exciting clinical trial updates in microsatellite stable colorectal cancer (MSS CRC) from Prof. Michael Overman (The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX) and in melanoma from Dr Diwakar Davar (UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, Pittsburgh, PA).
