Upperberry | Mørbeck

This mix really reflects the era when I was deep into partying. Going out to places in Berlin like Polar TV, WMF and Sternradio Afterhour in the first years after the turn of the Millennium. I’m still amazed by the ideas and incredible productions from back then. Techno in that period was definitely driven by a much more emotional sound, probably a reason why the pills kicked in a bit better. It wasn’t an easy task to find all my old favorites, mainly because I only knew a few of the track titles and could only remember the melodies of most of them. So I definitely poured a lot of time and passion into this mix. A few times while I was recording I got serious goosebumps, it felt like I was time traveling.
