You talk with your plants? I do. Every single day I Have to talk with them and make sure they are okay. I check their soil.

I check their leaves. I check that everything's all right, and I think I have a plant addiction or something like that if it's it is possible. It looks like an urban jungle in here I'm allergic to so many things and that includes all flowers. So all the plants I have they are different types of green plants so that basically means different types of leaves or Non-flowering potted plants, and I love them.

I have between I think 30 or 40 different plants Some of them are the same type of plant, but like I have so many to take care of Big ones small ones and they're scattered around my house or my small apartment actually But I talk with them every day. I just find it intriguing to To see how they grow and I I noticed every little change and like oh why are you getting a yellow leaf? What's up? Why are you so trying?

You drink so much. You're such a good plant. You grow so much Yeah, I talk with them like they are my babies or my pets. I Hope I'm not that abnormal doing this, but for me, it's completely natural.

I just love taking care of them and Just this morning. I realized that My succulents are growing babies and I basically did a happy dance in my kitchen. It's that much. I'm so into it I took off two of Leaves from one of my succulents like one month ago I just put them on top of some soil and I just given the soils and water now and then Now they have roots and that means babies are growing and it makes me so happy.

I'm like So thrilled. I just hope it continues to grow and continues to thrive because I want it I want to be able to grow succulents from the beginning like like a cutling I mean, I have so many plants that I've grown from cutlings, but me and succulents we have never been Typically friendly with each other. We've always had some problems Same with the cactus me and a cactus also They say you cannot kill cactus, but I can and I've killed so many succulents in my life also But right now I have about ten of them in my house small ones Five of them were one big plant and a big plant nearly died and two months ago. I just took it out to my balcony.

I broke the pot open and just Cut off everything that I told was still alive Put it in some new soil and they're growing perfectly fine And I'm so happy about it and the other ones they're just small ones that I've got from supermarkets here and there I love succulents to have they must look a little bit strange. I don't like ordinary plants. All my plants are Quite special. They have interesting leaves.

They have all different types of green. I don't like My home to look so organized when it comes to the plants. So it's like an urban jungle truly. It's a jungle I let them grow free.

The problem with some of my larger plants is that Basically, I don't think I can move them now because they have just Grown into their location and I yeah, I cannot just move them I will need assistance actually to repot them or to Yeah, to make them grow differently because truly they are they just took over the place they are staying in and it's quite funny I was I think for the first 25 years of my life. I didn't care about plants at all. My mother always did She has so much plants in her house and also her garden. She loves to deal with the flowers and the plants It's her passion.

It's what keeps her same and She truly loves it. It brings out the best in her and she was so disappointed in me because she's like You have to love plants plants. It's like the funniest thing It's something you can be good at and no, I'm not interested I had one period on my life where I had maybe 20 orchids and I Yeah, I grew orchids. I had them for like five years For some reason I started dying and one by one I lost them.

I tried to revive them. I could not and I just quit like okay. I will not have our kids It's I don't want it because it pissed me off that they would all go and die on me like that and I just started like small Like okay I will just buy one green plant and then I bought another one and like oh, maybe this one is lonely I need a third one And fourth one fifth one sixth one and then I was someone like oh what kind of plant is this? You think I can get a cuddling and I got a cuddling and I put it in water and it grows and I have to put it in soil And it needs a bigger pot and this is how the man starts And I've been doing this now for the last Yeah, maybe seven eight years and I just love it.

Truly. I I Really really love it. It's fabulous and it keeps my house full of Full of life even if I have no pets or no children There is life here and also it's so good for the air inside the homes to have Plants and especially some of the plants you can get it. It helps to Preserve the right amount of oxygen in the air and it also removes toxins and it can actually do so much good for you I have flowers in my bedroom or plants I cannot call them flowers and I have plants in my kitchen.

I have it in my living room My living room is probably where I have most of my bigger plants because I have the floor space for it in the kitchen I have filled all the windows But they're in minor plants and they're smaller in size, but they are plenty of them And I love every single one of them as I told you I talk with them every day. I make sure they are okay and like Oh, you need a bigger pot, maybe Sometimes when I'm not feeling all that well of course it can take a couple of weeks without me really engaging with my plants and You can't see the difference Because they really they need to be taken care of they need to be handled They need to have new soil or water or nutrition or whatever you choose to give them. They must have it regularly Some plants they can handle more than others of course I have a couple of plants in my house that We are never get along like I never understand them. I try and give them water.

They don't want it I try to make them go dry. They don't want that I try to move them around no They don't like this and I try so many things and they will never Thrive and they will never be big plants or they will never grow well and then I beat myself up about it like What am I doing wrong like? Oh, you must just be you must be good You cannot be like this and then I talk with my mother and she's like this is normal not all plants will be as Successful as others and you will not succeed with all the plants. It's the same with baking or cooking or plants or whatever you do in life It's some things you will be an expert on it some things you will be good at it and other things He will not be that good on it and it's also okay.

You don't have to be it doesn't have to be perfection Here where I'm sitting in my living room. I can actually see one of the plants that I'm struggling with at the moment He doesn't want to grow. He doesn't want to I don't think he wants to live actually I'm just thinking that in a week or so he will give up and it can be the lack of light because here in Norween Now we are slowly headed for winter and that means the light is getting less and less during the day We will just have a couple of hours eventually and it's hard to make the plants survive during the winter Because I don't have room in my windows for all of them It's impossible and to be honest The windows are also the coolest part of the home because they get draft from the windows and it will get chillier and most plants They don't love that to be standing there and with a cold feet. They don't want it So I'm just trying to think what to do with this one.

Maybe I'll just let it die But I'm not good with those things. I I want to succeed. I want it to be perfect I want to figure out why he don't want to grow or why he want to die or yeah He's not acting the way he normally does and he's been acting up now for two weeks It seems like I'm talking about my cats or my children right when I speak about my plants Yeah, I'm not a cat lady. I'm the plant lady Maybe this should be the name on my podcast actually the crazy plant lady from Norway.

Yeah, it's a good name
