Replay of Urban Night Grooves #118 featuring The Verticals in the Guestmix. The Verticals is a project originated by Thomas Werres and Marcel Soyer back in the early 2000's. Their love for house music led into a cooperation of producing tracks, djing and friendship. Both grew up in very musical and artistic families. It was only a natural progression for them to become interested in production. The sound of The Verticals is rooted in the early 90's and mainly influenced by soulful house (New York Garage). Although the New York garage sound lost popularity in the 2000's, The Verticals never strayed from their roots. The long past has even deepened their enthusiasm for the golden era of house Music. In 2018 The Verticals released a sample pack: New York Underground House Beats (link below).
