Replay of Urban Night Grooves #88 with JC Unique in the Guestmix! JC Unique started DJ'ing in the mid 90's as a sideline to music production. In 1998, he founded Unique 2 Rhythm Records releasing primarily white-labels and bootlegs within the UKG scene operating from his own Ipswich based studio which at one time resided above the legendary 'Redeye Records' Drum 'n' Bass specialist record shop. After a 10 year break he revived the U2R brand to a new digital world, re-launching the label as a means of releasing material he was creating with software as opposed to hardware which was relegated to long-term storage. DJ'ing has also changed dramatically which he embraced by also returning with his own sound system playing private parties and small specialist events but this time playing various flavours of House music from Soulful, Disco to Deep and Bumpy. One basic rule applies to JC's work which permeates his label too. The music must have an element of soul and make you feel lifted is some way. Tracklist: 01.
