Urgent message for African youths: $100B Bet
My name is Joel Millanzi. I’m 20 years old from Tanzania, a college dropout with no job. I’ve only made $2,000 in my whole life. And right now, I’m learning how to raise $100 Billion over the next 15–25 years to end family-level poverty in Africa. This is Day 1.I believe Africa is not poor because we are incapable — we are poor because we are disorganized. Our greatest resource is not minerals or land. It is our youth. Over 400 million young people right now, and the number is growing fast. Yet every year, 9 million young Africans are left behind because there simply aren’t enough jobs. Small businesses make up 50% of Africa’s GDP and employ 80% of the people — but they’re struggling, and they’re not hiring. I believe the solution is to connect hungry African youth with struggling African businesses. Give them tools, real training, and real work helping businesses grow. Turn job seekers into owners. This is not another aid program. This is an economic activation movement built on revenue, ownership, and dignity. In this episode I explain:1. Why I’m doing this2. How I plan to do it3. The mechanism to make it inevitable4. Where I’m starting right now (working a US sales job to learn and fund the mission)If you’re a young African who’s tired of waiting for jobs that don’t exist…If you’re a business owner who wants to grow…If you believe Africa’s future can be different…This movement is for you.Let’s build Africa
