The United States has expressed concerns over the decaying human rights situation in Burundi. Speaking in Bujumbura on Saturday at the end of his two-day visit in the country, Tom Malinowski, the US assistant secretary of state for democracy, human rights and labour urged government to stop arresting peaople are perceived to be sympathisers of the opposition.
