The U.S. tells Israel to take steps to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza or face potential restrictions on military aid. The mass displacement in Lebanon war has revived sectarian tensions as Christian and Sunni communities grow uneasy over hosting displaced Shi’ite neighbours.
