US threatens sanctions against countries that keep economic ties with Iran

The Trump administration has launched a major new sanctions campaign aimed at cutting Iran off from the global economy, including threatening countries and companies that continue doing business with Tehran. Ian Lesser, Distinguished Fellow at the German Marshall Fund, discusses whether the strategy can succeed, how far the US is prepared to go against China, and the risk of further escalation with Iran.
