Kelly Gunther, a member of the 2014 Speed Skating Olympic Team joins Hootie Hoot in The Sports Deli Podcast to share her incredible story. The comeback kid, the girl next door, a motivational speaker, the Loraine, Ohio native, shares a birthday with Halle Berry, Magic Johnson, and Tim Tebow and was born the same year as Lionel Messi and Meek Mill. What makes 2014 even more remarkable is what Kelly had to overcome 4 years earlier not only during the olympic trials but afterwards where she almost lost part of her leg. She originally tried her luck at figure skating after roller skating at age 6 but it wasn't fast enough for her liking so she started inline skating. which eventually led to speed skating...
