Utah Football head coach Kyle Whittingham is now 3-0 against Lincoln Riley and on a 4-game win streak over USC Football. The Utes were dominant in the trenches, with Bryson Barnes, Ja'Quinden Jackson, and converted safety Sione Vaki rushing for a combined 240 yards. Barnes, Utah's quarterback, also passed for 235 yards and 3 touchdowns, with his lone mistake being a pick-six throw to USC safety Calen Bullock. The USC Trojans look like one of the softest teams in the country, and this isn't just a problem for Alex Grinch and the defense. Offensively, Marshawn Lloyd is not given enough touches, star quarterback Caleb Williams looks lost and frustrated, and Lincoln Riley seems to act as if he should win games because of his name and not the schematics of the game. My reaction to this game is USC must make changes immediately after this season. Utah's staff could do wonders with the talent that the Trojans have, and life will get harder when USC Football joins the Big Ten next season.
