Use What God Gave You

“Your gifts are not accidents— they are assignments.”The Parable of the Talents teaches that God entrusts each of us with something valuable. It may be a gift, a calling, a story, a skill, an idea, or even influence. What God gives is never small—it is always intentional.In the parable, the servant who hid his talent didn’t lose it because he wasn’t gifted—he lost it because he was afraid. Fear is one of the enemy’s greatest tools to stop purpose. Fear buries potential. Fear convinces you that someone else is better. Fear makes you think you need more time before you begin.But God never blesses buried talent.He blesses used talent.He blesses stewarded talent.He blesses multiplied talent.When you refuse to use what God has given you, you miss the chance to grow, strengthen, and expand. But when you dare to step into what He entrusted you with—even if it’s small at first—He promises increase. God promotes faithfulness, not perfection.
