Using administrative health data to look at the side effects of biological agents used to treat inflammatory arthritis

In this episode of Arthritis At Home, Ellen Wang, Programs Coordinator for Arthritis Consumer Experts, speaks to Mr. Kasra Moolooghy, a MSc Candidate under the supervision of Dr. Diane Lacaille at Arthritis Research Canada. Recently, Kasra was awarded the Mitacs Fellowship for his research looking at the side effects of biological agents that are used in the treatment of inflammatory arthritis. Ellen and Kasra share an insightful conversation about adverse events and some of the statistical techniques that are used to understand the data.
