If a child is missing and officials suspect the child is being trafficked, there's a 75% chance they're being sold online. But, if the only option detectives have is to scroll through ad after ad, they are wasting valuable time to find the missing child. With AI facial recognition technology, on the other hand, a computer can do a much quicker search and identify the closest matches. Now, police can quickly recover the child and build a case against the trafficker instead of wasting precious time scrolling.
