Using Alert Systems To Protect Members from Scammers

In this episode of Solutions Cast, we speak with Poudre Valley Rural Electric Association (PVREA) Strategic Communications Director Sam Taggart about the innovative approach PVREA is using to warn cooperative members of local scammers. Taggart discusses the scam alert system his team has put in place to protect members from an age-old problem while achieving positive member engagement during a moment of critical need. Based in Fort Collins, Colorado, PVREA is a distribution cooperative covering 2,000 square miles of service territory across three counties with more than 4,000 miles of overhead, underground and transmission line.
