Using Incident Management Teams In the Urban Setting

from EM Weekly Podcast · host The Readiness Lab

Consistent with past practice, Urban Areas began a collaborative process to establish All-Hazards Incident Management Teams (AHIMT) . Today we are taking a deep dive into the AHIMT process and seeks to identify challenges and obstacles to collaboration with FDNY BC Rich DePrima. There is minimal agreement about how much collaboration has taken place in developing the AHIMT programs. The benefits of collaboration are believed to include the sharing of resources, developing positive relationships with other agencies, reducing operational costs, and providing a common framework for identifying and solving problems. These findings support the following recommendations for using collaboration in regional initiatives: an overall program strategy document that addresses the need for and commitment to collaboration, governance, personnel, competency, remaining relevant, and an exercise schedule.LinksWeb - https://www.ahimta.org/Twitter - https://twitter.com/fdnyimt?lang=enFacebook -https://www.facebook.com/.../today-the.../572038263528723/LinkedIn -https://www.linkedin.com/in/richard-deprima-072668162/Todd De VoeWebsite - https://toddtdevoe.com/Website- www.crisis-cafe.comSpeak N Spark-https://bit.ly/3sTVUfrLinkedIn - https://bit.ly/3sVHL1gEM WeeklyWebsite - https://bit.ly/3jj5ItlTwitter - https://bit.ly/31z8MeXFacebook - https://bit.ly/3dMlbRPLinkedIn - https://bit.ly/34mXyfzYouTube - https://bit.ly/2FQDhWdSister ShowsEM Student Web -https://bit.ly/2Hw0sFxTwitter - https://bit.ly/31z8MeXFacebook - https://bit.ly/3dMlbRPLinkedIn - https://bit.ly/34mXyfzYouTube - https://bit.ly/2FQDhWdThe Business Continuity ShowTwitter - https://bit.ly/3ojEIO2Facebook - https://bit.ly/2Tjqv5HLinkedIn - https://bit.ly/34mXyfzYouTube - https://bit.ly/3mePJyGSponsors Outer Limit Supply https://bit.ly/2FR26Bp Coupon Code “EMWEEKLY” Power Up- https://www.powerupconnect.com/Mid-Atlantic Center for Emergency Management- https://macem.org/Home.aspx
