USMNT evolution owes itself to Gregg Berhalter’s work

The USMNT beat Paraguay 41 in its FIFA World Cup opener yesterday. For several years, social media has lit up about the so-called “under achievement” of the USMNT when in fact my argument has been quite to the contrary due to the youth of the USMNT between 2019 and 2022, as well as the need to change the style of play on the fly.
