USR 272: Ross Simmonds on Creating Content that CONVERTS

For years, people have been saying content is king. And while content is important, what happens when you create a ton of content but don't make sales from it?   Times are changing and we need to start thinking about content in a different way. In this episode we are talking to Ross Simmonds, serial entrepreneur, about how important it is to not only create the content but also the distribution low-down.   In this day and age, creating content has become the norm. We know what when we have a business or a blog that the most important thing is to create content the correlates with our business. However what people forget to realize is after you create it, you need to DISTRIBUTE it. You need to find the platforms, connect with the people in your audience and get your content out there!   Daily interaction is key to getting content to your audience in an organic way. Ross explains that commenting, liking, and reposting content in the same niche will help build that relationship. It's all about the one-on-one interactions. Gathering a big following  takes time (like anything in business). It takes a lot of little interactions NOT just one day of liking some photos.   It's not always about creating something, it's about creating and BUILDING.
