Utah Basketball's New Frontcourt: Faye & Freshmen

Utahs mens basketball team, led by coach Alex Jensen, is poised for a turnaround in the upcoming season. The teams fortunes hinge on the return of Babacar Faye, a six-foot-nine forward, who missed the entire 2025-26 season due to a foot injury. Faye, who averaged 15.2 points and 7.8 rebounds in just ten games at Western Kentucky, is expected to bolster the Utes frontcourt, which struggled last season without him. The team has also added depth with freshmen Fynn Schott and transfers Malek Gomma and Zati Loubaki, setting the stage for a potential breakout season in the Big Twelve.
