Utah Jazz at Miami Heat Postgame Analysis (11-7-2021)

Donovan Mitchell’s 37 points in his comeback game were not enough as the Utah Jazz fall just short against the Miami Heat, losing 115 to 118. The final score makes the game appear closer than it was, as the Jazz had to rally back from down 19 points in the fourth quarter, and while they did have a chance to send it to overtime at the end of regulation, the Heat dominated the game from start to finish.  Tyler Hero lead the Heat in scoring with 29 points off the bench, followed by Jimmy Butler with 27. Kyle Lowry did more than just put up 20 points in the win, as he became the fourth oldest player in NBA history to notch a triple-double. In the end, the versatile offensive attack of Miami and the most difficult switching defense the Jazz have played all season was just too much for Utah, and while Donovan overall had a very efficient game, the one part that he came up short in was he 4-15 shooting from three.
