Utah Valley Joins Big West Conference

Utah Valley Wolverines are officially heading to the Big West Conference starting July 2026, joining Cal Baptist in a major shake-up that leaves the WAC with just five teams. This move weakens the WCC’s options as Gonzaga, Oregon State, and Washington State also depart, leaving the WCC with nine schools. Despite Utah Valley’s size and the Big West’s football focus, the realignment reshapes college athletics across the West, with more potential moves on the horizon.
