Utah's New Frontline Against Financial Fraud

Utah consumers lost more than $108 million to financial fraud last year, and state leaders are launching a new strategy to fight back. Attorney General Derek Brown joins Maria Shilaos to discuss the new Utah Financial Crimes Investigative Center, a partnership bringing together law enforcement, prosecutors, banks and credit unions to better identify scams and protect consumers.   Plus, The man accused of killing political influencer Charlie Kirk is back in court, the Jordan School District is considering school closures and tickets are now available for the Salt Lake Temple open house.   And....on the 25th anniversary of International Overdose Awareness Day, advocates reflect on the progress made in preventing overdose deaths and the work still ahead.
