He also received his Master of Arts from Hartford International University in Islamic Studies, focussing on Muslim Christian Relations. Uthman is currently a PhD student of Sociocultural Anthropology at the University of Alberta. His current historical research is on idolatry and idol worship of 7th Century Arabia; however, his anthropological ethnography is focussed on religious trauma in Canada.
