Born and raised in Jefferson, Wisconsin, Lance Leipold has achieved the college football dream. He played at nearby UW-Whitewater, went on to assist Barry Alvarez at Wisconsin, spent some time away, then came back home to lead UW-Whitewater to six DIII National Championship before heading to Division 1, where now he leads the Kansas Jayhawks football program.
