VA 7, Ep. 7 Invaders from an alien world: Hidalgos, sons of NOthing yearning to be Sons of SOMEthing

We will follow the narrative of the conquest of the Incas perpetrated by the Spaniards, led by those who felt they were sons of noone or nothing, who left their lands, inspired by the tales of knights who achieved glory and wealth in fantastical lands, myths which fed their thirst for gold, for blood, for power. Five Centuries, The Same, a song I have always loved, will open and close this tragic chapter; I voice it bilingually hoping it may help us comprehend these complex ideas and approach, with open hearts and minds, the cycles of human behavior and the repetitive nature of history.
