I practiced what I preached and I went a-Maying, exploring the gifts of spring in Northern California. I found fuel for the mind, the body and soul. I learned that the East Bay is a lost world which is always on the move, tectonically and morphologically speaking. The Berkeley Rose Garden offers an exploratory visit that delights the senses with more than 250 varieties of roses, and I could follow the footsteps of the Green Man and Woman in its design and botanical treasures.
