VA6, Ep. 7 Emergency can become Emergence

Emergency is derived from emerge; meaning to rise out, to come to the light, to arise. Can Emergency become Emergence and be the latent possibility hidden within our crises? We go on a spiral of a journey, beginning with the feast of Annunciation, explore the meaning of the arrival of light to redeem a world full of darkness. I re-visit symbols of birth, death and re-birth and follow those topics to the images found in Chiribiquete's rock walls; expressions of rituals of transformation and the irruption of the sacred into the mundane. These expressions of emergence of the past collide with real life emergence of actors of change; Victorias Amazonicas that are the messengers and evidence of Emergencies being transformed into Emergence.
