The plaintiff claims her ex stole some of her money to gamble, so she is suing. The defendant claims he lost trust in the plaintiff, and he denies owing the plaintiff anything. Then, The plaintiff met the defendant in high school, but he was a bad boy who eventually dropped out after having a child. Years later, the plaintiff says the defendant turned his life around and became a pastor. However, the plaintiff is suing the defendant because she sent the defendant bus fare to attend her mother’s funeral, but the defendant failed to show up. The defendant insists he did everything he could to attend the funeral, and he’s countersuing for defamation of character. Plus, The plaintiff says when she started dating the defendant, she knew he was still married, but the defendant claimed he was getting a divorce. However, the plaintiff learned the defendant was trying to reconcile in his marriage. The plaintiff is suing the defendant because she alleges she paid for a trip that the defendant agreed to pay for, but he failed to do so. The defendant insists he never dated the plaintiff, and he believes she offered to pay for the trip. The defendant is countersuing for defamation of character and harassment.
