The Biden administration has promised to make Covid-19 vaccines available to all US adults by May 1st, but getting a vaccine to those who need them most is still an uphill battle. Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and Pacific Islander Americans are more than twice as likely to die from Covid-19, but they’re not the ones getting the vaccine.. In this episode, Laura interviews three public health experts about the challenges of eradicating Covid-19 in the face of widespread vaccine hesitancy. Why are some Americans resisting vaccination, and what is being done to change their minds? Are public health officials listening to the needs of the community?
