According to a criminal complaint, 66-year old James Armstrong, the truckers, fired his gun at the other man, 51-year old Eric Sammons, during a confrontation. The complaint says that Sammons blocked the semi truck at an intersection and proceeded to walk back towards the semi-truck screaming and cussing. Witness account said Sammons was making threatening comments. Armostrongs Lawer said that his client never even opened the door. Allegedly Sammons opened the door of the Semi and that is when Armstrong pulled the trigger. Sammons died at the scene. Armstrong was charged with 2nd degree murder.
