The last time I talked with Valerie Bertinelli was 2 years ago, which was a pretty dark time in both of our lives. I can't tell you how JOYOUS it was to reunite in person and see just how much we both have been able to heal since then (after putting in lots of hard work, of course). We had such a meaningful and fun conversation about her new cookbook Indulge, how she deals with grief, and how Valerie got to a place where she truly loves herself.
